tried and true, but we’re making it NEW

August 16, 2010

So we’ve been asked yet again, but another client, to use Calacatta Gold marble as the predominant tile material in a bathroom renovation. While we adore this stone for SOOOOO many reasons, we wanted to jazz up this material and break away from some of the more regimented and wildly popular patterns this material is typically seen in. Since our our client loves everything dramatic and contemporary, we’ll be relying on this amazing pattern, that is part of the Aqualinea line by Waterworks, to create dramatic interest on our floor plane that lends a movement unlike many we’ve seen.

This mosaic can be comprised solely of Calacatta Gold or mixed with a long list of other stones. If this pattern doesn’t do it for you, try one of these other unique patterns of marble cutting precision that are also available in the Aqualinea line…..

We will keep it all in the Calacatta Gold and will create a very long and linear pattern on the wall planes to offset the movement in the floor design, using 12″ x 24″ and 6″ x 12″ and 2″ x 12″ tile.

Medium wood toned cabinetry with grey undertones and shiny polished nickel faucetry will put the finishing touches on another id 810 bathroom reno!
