We’re doing a little victory dance over here…

July 7, 2011

We are so thrilled (!!!) to have been chosen as the 1st place winner of Studio Bon’s textile contest for our use of their fabrics in a project we recently completed.

We used these two awesome Studio Bon patterns in this nursery shared by an adorable baby boy and girl.

We wanted to keep it young and fun, but have a certain level of polish and sophistication at the same time.

What you can’t see from the photo is that these insanely precious felt animal heads are hanging over each crib.

And we complemented Studio Bon’s “pool” color by using this textural Phillip Jeffries zebra grasscloth  on the remaining walls (surrounding that incredible original painted white brick!) and coating the ceiling in a custom high gloss pool color.

Sidenote: we gave the ridiculously adorable big sister to these twins has a high gloss silver (yes, silver, like the metal) ceiling. Tres chic for all of her 3 years of age.

It is such a gratifying feeling when all of our hard work and seemingly endless hours creating, designing, sourcing, ordering and implementing pays off and we have happy clients who love their space. But to know that the fabric designer appreciated what we created with her product as well has really just sent us over the moon. So, thank you Studio Bon for choosing us, and making our day (ahem, week)!

And BTW we had a little snafu with that gorgeous drum shade that we custom designed (it came back from the shop with the waves going up and down, which was clearly problematic since we needed it to coordinate with the drapery) so if you’re interested in buying it from us at a super duper discounted price, please let us know! It is 18″ diameter x 18″ tall.

And, here are some other Studio Bon fabrics we have our eyes on…
